  • Yes, all work except for emergency repairs requires permitting. We are happy to secure all permits on your behalf and manage the required municipal inspections. We also encourage you to hire a third-party independent inspector to verify everything exceeds code and quality standards.

  • No. We do not personally believe that financing home improvement projects is a wise financial decision. However, if your beliefs differ from ours, we are happy to share referrals to several lenders that can assist you with this process.

  • The walk-in shower with multiple shower heads is very popular. Walk-in showers are very elegant and user-friendly.

    We recommend the following features in a walk-in shower:

    Install a zero-barrier curb. This not only makes the shower handicap accessible, it provides a stylish floor to shower transition.

    Instead of installing an expensive multi head shower with a single temperature valve, we recommend installing multiple traditional shower valves. This is significantly less expensive and allows each shower head to have a different temperature.

  • Hire Brinson Services. Or at least make sure you hire a contractor that uses the latest in waterproofing technology. We use KBRS shower systems to provide a leakproof system with a life-time leak free warranty.

  • We understand this is a common question and concern. Until a better product is available, we will only use Spectralock 1 grout. It is a one-part epoxy grout that is stain proof and highly resistant to mold and mildew. Even when mold or mildew is present in a bathroom with Spectralock 1 grout, it will simply be wiped away with a disinfectant.
